Harting product comics

Who is harting?

The HARTING Technology Group is skilled in the fields of electrical, electronic and optical connection, transmission and networking, as well as in manufacturing, mechatronics and software creation. The Group uses these skills to develop customized solutions and products such as connectors for energy and data transmission applications including, for example, mechanical engineering, rail technology, wind energy plants, factory automation and the telecommunications sector. HARTING also produces electromagnetic components for the automotive industry, and is a specialist in industrial applications in the form of enclosures, housings, cabling and/or the assembly of individual or complete systems, as well as automated vending systems.

Objective

To attract the attention of event attendees and communicate the value of Harting’s products in a fun, relatable way to the Chinese market.

Our strategy

Harting are manufacturers of a range of exciting industrial and technology products. With 4 new products in their PushPull series to promote in China they turned to our partner <influence matter> for their PR expertise. Hoping to help Harting achieve their goals, they turned to us help create captivating content that would engage Chinese audiences. To capture the attention of consumers, we used our creative expertise to craft a unique series of comics and develop a full video game experience.

 

Harting were able to provide us with personas for us to build their comics around. To date, we’ve created five comics for each of Harting’s products (SKUs), which they’ve used on their website, WeChat, and even at offline events!

Results

Harting found that event attendees responded excellently to the new comics at offline events, and attendees were much better able to understand the value of each product.
